We Believe



 Our Mission Statement
Our mission is to obey the great commandment; love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, and mind; and to love our neighbor as we love ourselves.


What We Believe
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.

 There is one God, eternally existent in three persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

 Man is born of a fallen nature and must be born again by believing and accepting that Jesus Christ is the only way for personal salvation and eternal life.

 The ordinances of the church are baptism in water by immersion and communion.

 The initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is speaking in tongues.

 Diving healing and miracles are for today.

 The ministry is divinely called by God and is five-fold in function, with ordained ministers as pastors, evangelists, teachers, prophets, and apostles.

 We believe in the resurrection of the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.

Our Purpose
VCC exists to share the message of salvation, establish a place to worship, to provide Christian fellowship, and to facilitate maturity in the believer.
