About Us
Valley Christian Center
VCC celebrates its twenty-seventh anniversary in 2013. Its founding pastor, Reverend Robert Young, associated with Reverend Mel Davis, founder of the International Association of Ministries. Doctrinally, the church beliefs are similar to The Assemblies of God, Four Square, and other fundamental pentecostal churches. Organizationally, it is independent with the pastor serving with the help of elders and deacons.
The church promotes the entire Bible including miracles and the work of the Holy Spirit.
Pastor Kevin Young
Pastor Kevin was raised in a pastor's home and involved in the music ministry of the church since his high school days. After training and working in business for more than twenty years, he graduated from Bible School and became Senior Pastor of VCC.
He has a heart for God and desires that we love Him, serve Him, and praise Him.
While this area has many churches, only 4% of its population attends church each Sunday. He desires
to continue to reach the surrounding community with the gospel of
Jesus Christ, to provide a place for all to find hope, and to provide
a place for each Christian to find Biblical wisdom.
He desires to see God move among us and direct our lives. The services are designed for sincere worship and practical Bible teaching.
